Qu'est la chiropraxie ?
L'Organisation mondiale de la Santé (OMS) définit la chiropratique comme la «profession de la santé concernée par le diagnostic, le traitement et la prévention des troubles du système neuro-musculo-squelettique et des effets de ces derniers sur la santé globale. Basée sur des techniques manuelles, notamment l'ajustement articulaire et/ou manipulation, se concentrant principalement sur les complexes de subluxation».
La chiropratique est fondée sur le principe que le corps (s'il fonctionne de façon optimale) est capable de se guérir, comme lorsque nous nous coupons, lorsque nous avons un rhume, ou lorsqu'on se casse un bras, par exemple.
La chiropratique met un accent spécial sur la capacité de guérison intrinsèque du corps et de la prédominance du système nerveux dans le maintien de l'équilibre du corps. Elle n'utilise ni médicaments ni chirurgie.

Notre philosophie de la santé est globale (nous nous concentrons sur le patient, et non sur la pathologie). Ce système de soins est naturel, manuel et conservateur (ni médicament, ni chirurgie). Notre approche est fonctionnelle (nous nous concentrons sur la fonction, et non sur le symptôme). Notre objectif principal porte sur la partie structurelle et biochimique de votre santé.
